Cody is an assistant professor at the Capstone College of Nursing. She is a board-certified Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner (AGNP-C). Her primary research focuses on the impact of racial and sleep health disparities among people with HIV, specifically those ages 50+. Dr. Cody served as the principal investigator/program director for a 2020 opioid planning grant funded by the Human Resources and Services Administration. Dr. Cody received the 2020 Distinguished Educator in Gerontological Nursing award from the National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence (NHCGNE). She has 20+ publications on HIV and cognitive aging, and she has presented at several local and international conferences. |
