Biography: 
​Dr. Wedgeworth has clinical experience in the areas of medical-surgical and psychiatric nursing. She began teaching at the Capstone College of Nursing in 2004. She has taught in the undergraduate and master’s programs and currently teaches courses in the Ed.D., joint Ph.D., and D.N.P. doctoral programs. Dr. Wedgeworth is active in research and has a variety of grants, publications and presentations in the areas of behavioral health integration, opioid response, student mental health and mental health education.
